Mind-body balance
Why consult a sophrologist within a Mind-Body Balance approach?
Sophrology can be used occasionally to prepare for a specific event or as part of a regular support process to help soothe certain difficulties.
it is particularly effective for :
-
Reducing stress, anxiety and mental overload
-
Helping relieve discomfort related to tinnitus
-
Improving sleep quality
-
Managing emotions (hypersensitivity, anger, sadness, etc.)
-
Strengthening self-confidence and self-esteem
-
Mentally preparing for an event (exam, childbirth, competition, surgery)
-
Coping better with a challenging situation (burnout, separation, professional change)
-
Supporting people living with illness: I specialise in supporting people affected by cancer, alongside medical care
-
Relieving chronic pain, an area in which I am also specialised
Sophrology does not replace medical treatment. it is a complementary approach, designed to help you cope better with what you are going through.
How does a session work?
Each session begins with a time for discussion, allowing us to assess your needs. We then move on to exercices combining breathing, gentle body-based movements and guided positive visualisation
The exercises are simple, adapted to your physical abilities, and easy reproduce at home.
Who is sophrology for?
Sophrology is particularly suitable for people seeking greater well-being, recentring, or wishing to develop their personnal capacities.
It is designed for those who want to better manage their daily life and strengthen their personal resources, within a respectful and progressive framework
My approach
My practice of sophrology is humanistic and personalized. I take the time to adapt each session to your needs, your current capabilities, and your own pace. The goal is not performance, but gradual progress towards lasting well-being.
I am specifically trained in supporting people living with cancer and chronic pain, I offer a caring, safe and respectful environment where everyone can move forward at their own pace, with gentleness and attentive listening.
